During the General Assembly of the Intercoiffure Mondial held on May 18th , during the 20th Intercoiffure World Congress - ICD Rio 2008, the Association honored hairstylists and world personalities of the beauty care sector with the insignias “Ordre de La Chevalerie”, “Personality of the Year” and “Créateur de Mode”.

The honor insignias, created as a recognition for the work achieved by hairdressers around the world, in the ranks of: Knight, Officer, Commander and Grand Cross, were handed by the presidents of different countries of the world.
