With the growing internationalization of HAIR BRASIL and the development of the Brazilian market of toiletries and cosmetics, foreign exhibitors at the fair are spotlighted. The American Pavilion, which participates in the exhibition for the third year, brought nine companies, six of which debuting and three are here for the second time.
The group coordinator and business analyst of the American Consulate, Denise Barbosa, says that the participations of American companies in HAIR BRASIL have been very positive. "The companies made many important contacts in this edition and we will now work on the follow up to try to sign partnerships with distributors or establish joint ventures," she explains.
And it was not only on the Brazilian market that US companies of gel enamel, hair accessories, makeup and esthetics products made good contacts. "We received interested contacts from Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Italy, Tunisia and Ghana," says Denise.
The success achieved at previous editions motivated the group to exhibit in a larger space in 2012. "Our booth more than doubled," explains Denise. She also commemorates the success of former participants of the American Pavilion. "In 2012, four brands that had been already in the group are exhibiting with their own booths, through distributors. Among them are Duo, Perfect Salon and EZ Flow. "
