Hair Brasil is expanding its international promotional activities and participated in September and October in two major trade events in Europe: the Salon International in London, the important UK beauty care trade fair held from September 17 to 19, and the Salón Look International in Madrid, Spain, from October 23 to 25.

Antonio de Carvalho Junior, Hair Brasil general manager, attended the events aiming to divulge the Brazilian fair among visitors and exhibitors. Says he: "We wish to reiterate our position as the leading gateway for the beauty market in Latin America”.

Organized by IFEMA, the 12th edition of the Salón Look International featured more than 400 Spanish and international exhibitors spread over the 18,000 m2 of fair area. In 2008 about 80,000 beauty care professionals and entrepreneurs visited the fair to check novelties and innovations in cosmetics, aesthetics, hairdressing products and toiletries. The event hosted more than 1,300 foreign buyers, mainly from Portugal, Italy, France and Brazil.



This is the third time Hair Brasil participates in the Madrid fair as an exhibitor. "The European market is working with plenty technology and we are always seeking to bring new brands and quality products to Brazil, that will benefit the consumer," said Katherine Shibata, Hair Brasil, and International Trade Manager.
In addition to introducing new products, equipment and services, the Madrid Salón Look International promoted the Second Beauty Congress e the Second Hair Look Fashion Show

Antonio de Carvalho Junior also represented Hair Brasil at the Salon International, UK leading event in the area of hair care and beauty care. There were over 250 exhibitors showing fashion trends and innovations in beauty care products.

The London fair was also featuring the British Hairdressing Awards Gallery, also presenting the work of the finalists of the 2009 British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional
