One of the most expected moments of the 20th Intercoiffure
World Congress was the Gala Show with presentations staged by professionals from
Japan, Italy, Brazil, and Klaus Peter Ochs, president of Intercoiffure Mondial.
Intercoiffure Mondial pays homage to Waleska and Francisco Santos Waleska and Francisco Santos, the president
couple of the 20th Intercoiffure World Congress Intercoiffure, were awarded by
Intercoiffure Mondial with the Diamond Star – highest decoration granted
by the entity to the distinguished members who worked in favor of the hair care
and beauty care worldwide.

Mondial, the Association honored hairstylists and world personalities of the beauty
care sector with the insignias “Ordre de La Chevalerie”, Personality
of the Year and “Créateur de Mode”.

World Congress Jacques and Janine Goossens, the couple
president of Intercoiffure Brazil, handed over the Crystal piece symbolizing the
next congress of the entity, to the president of Intercoiffure Italy, Alberto
Rossi.

at the Sugarloaf The 20th Intercoiffure World Congress
Intercoiffure had some great surprises for the participants to the African Evening
at the Sugarloaf. The party illustrated the African input in the Brazilian culture
and showed the talent and creativity of the Juniors of Intercoiffure.
ICD Rio 2008: Cultural riches of the Amazon
The rich flora and fauna of the Amazon Rainforest were reproduced in a magnificent
scenario that enthralled the invitees to the Congress. The culture of the local
people was conveyed through several folkloric dances that depicted the most beautiful
traditions and legends of the indigenous people.
